Republicans Are Racists Says Obama

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 24, 2008

Obama says Republicans are going to run a racist campaign against him:

Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama said on Friday he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him.

“It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy,” Obama told a fundraiser in Jacksonville, Florida. “We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid.

“They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black?”

No, but you did, you race baiting bigot.

So Obama has now played the race card–loud and proud I might add.  He has suggested, with no evidence at all, that Republicans were pointing to his race as a reason to question his candidacy for the presidency.  It brings us back to his his accusation that Jewish voters were suspicious of him, not because of his affiliation with Reverend Wright and his willingness to meet directly with Holocaust denier Ahmadinejad, but because of his middle name or possibly because he is a closet Muslim.  Instead of eliminating race, he now intends to use race as a light saber to attack his Republican opponents.

Your color has nothing to do with the criticism you are receiving, Barry.  Nor is it because you are still in the closet.  It’s because you are a boob and border the intelligence to bestow the highest office in the land.  It is also because–as President–you would appoint wacko leftists judges, seek to pass huge government programs, appoint retread Clinton administration officials, cut and run in Iraq and have and will continue to surround yourself with dispicable people.  And oh yeah, your are a liar.

Another MoveOn.Org Ad

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 17, 2008

There are several of these MoveOn.org adds floating around.  The one with John Cusak I found particularly funny, but for some reason this one made me laugh a little harder.

It is interesting that the liberals over at this “organization” and their liberal sheep followers want to save their babies from bombs and bullets, yet seem to care less about the babies that are victims of the scalpel and suction……but i digress.

What either the uneducated script writer or mom here hasn’t grasped yet, is a would be President McCain wouldn’t be setting Iraq policy for the next 18 years.  Nor the next one hundred.  (Hint:  The Iraqi government does that)

Furthermore, liberals still can’t grasp the idea of the United States having an ALL volunteer military.  So the idea of McCain or the military “having” her son is frankly, up to her son.  Mom won’t be sending Alex anywhere and the miltary won’t be “taking” him either.  So Cindy Sheehan Jr. and MoveOn can, well, move on.

Morphed Quote…

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 8, 2008

Susan Sarandon wrote a letter to the cackling hens over at The View to “clarify” her “leaving America if John McCain is elected” statement a few days ago:

I want to clarify a quote that has been repeated and morphed into something other than intended. If I were to entertain the notion of leaving my country, it’s because I believe under McCain it would be significantly more dangerous to live in New York City with my family because of his statements regarding foreign policy and his volatile temper not because I would ever hate my country. … If discontent at the present leadership were motivated to leave, I would have left a long time ago, but instead, it’s every citizen’s duty and right under the Constitution to express their discontent. That’s called democracy. As I said in the full quote, this election is a critical one. I also said I have faith in the American people. Love, Susan.

Interesting.  How about we take another gander at the quote that was “repeated and morphed into something other than intended:”

“If McCain gets in, it’s going to be very, very dangerous,” she says.

“It’s a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I’ll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don’t know. We’re at an abyss.”

Clearly we misinterpreted you Susan.  Clearly.  However, if I was running for the Presidency, I would be pounding this home.  My campaign slogan would read something like this “Under a President JOTUS, America will see victory in Iraq, lower taxes, less government, and no more Susan Sarandon.”  “Oh, and Thelma and Louise sucked.”

Me thinks I would win in a landslide…

Good For The Goose, Not So much For The Gander

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 3, 2008

It appears the Vice President is in some hot water over some remarks he made about West Virginia.  West Virginia Govenor Joe Manchin, a Democrat, demanded an apology and nearly ran over women and children to release this statement:

I truly cannot believe that any vice president of the United States, regardless of their political affiliation, would make such a derogatory statement about my state or any state for that matter.”

So I guess you need to be an esteemed stand-up comic, late night talk show host or a hollywood writer to take shots at hayseeds from the south?  Indeed.

But it gets better.  Former Klan member, Senator Robert Byrd, had this to say:

for a vice president to openly display “such contempt and astounding ignorance toward his own countrymen” was an insult to all Americans.

The irony is almost laughable–nay–is laughable.  A former Klan member condemns the Veep’s alledged “contempt and astounding ignorance toward his own countrymen.”  Now that is rich…

Shocking, But Expected

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 2, 2008

In news that the mainstream media really didn’t mention:

100 World Leaders Hail Progress In Iraq

Naturally, the Democrats see no such progress.  And won’t.  After all, they’ve got an election to win.  Just ask Mrs. Botox (Nancy Pelosi), who says Iran is letting us win.  In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, she claimed the U.S. troop surge failed to accomplish its goal. She then partially credited the success of the troop surge to “the goodwill of the Iranians:”

Well, the purpose of the surge was to provide a secure space, a time for the political change to occur to accomplish the reconciliation. That didn’t happen. Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians.

Nice.  I suppose we should thank Al Qaeda for the slow down of beheadings and car bombs too Nancy?

She’s “Checking Out”

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 2, 2008

It seems another hollywood liberal is threatening to leave if John McCain is elected.  This isn’t really shocking news.  I mean we heard this garbage back in 2004 from the likes of Alec Baldwin, Robert Redford and Michael Moore.  And in true liberal fashion, they failed to honor their words.  What did we expect from a party–and people–where words like honor and integrity mean nothing.

This go around it is Mrs. Tim Robbins.  Or Susan Sarandon for those in Rio Linda.  She tells the Telegraph her financial and vocal support for Barack Obama has not endeared her to some fellow Democrats.

“I’ve got a lot of flak from feminists who feel that I should be supporting Hillary Clinton, but I thought the whole point of feminism is that you’re not supposed to be defined by gender,” she says…

Always busy, Sarandon is about to start work on the romantic period drama The Colossus, but with the presidential election campaign being heatedly contested, she also has bigger things to consider.

“If McCain gets in, it’s going to be very, very dangerous,” she says.

“It’s a critical time, but I have faith in the American people. If they prove me wrong, I’ll be checking out a move to Italy. Maybe Canada, I don’t know. We’re at an abyss.”

I guess I have to admire her grit and patience.  I mean, she has been really taking one for the team up until now.  36 years of her life lived under Republican presidents and yet, somehow, she hasn’t left.  How, oh how, has she withstood it for so long?

What I find humerous is why she is so upset with Mr. Straight Talker……he’ll do as much damage as the other two jabronies.
