Breaking: IOC Absolutely Slaps Obama In The Face

Posted by TheJOTUS on October 2, 2009

Breaking news this morning:  Chicago eliminated from the Olympics in the first round.  You talk about failure.  And it turns out they were the first city eliminated.

Obama, Obamaette and Oprah all showed to make the pitch–and failed.  Either he is this dumb, or he’s extremely naïve about his negotiating ability. Can’t wait to see him leverage that action with Iran.

Apparently the IOC is raaaaaaaaaaacist…

What will Barry’s spin be on this?  It’s Bush’s fault.

Update:

Chicago is out?  Chicago is out??!!!!!!1!!!!111!!!! Eleventy!!

I Heart Bush

Posted by TheJOTUS on August 22, 2008

I’ll admit, I have been watching Kerri Walsh and Misty May for quite some time now.  What can I say, I am a guy, I watch women’s beach volley ball.  Plus, there is something sexy about these two and I don’t care what anybody says.  Steffi Graf is hot too, but that is off topic……..

I watched every game throughout their olympic run.  They never lost a set.  For lack of a better phrase, they were awesome.  Dominating.  But what made them even more appealing–at least to me–was of what appeared to be their fondness of W.  Granted, I have had my issues with the President but I still think he is a genuine guy.  There is nothing false or phony about him, he truly believes in what he is doing.  Apparently they saw it too.

I think we all remember this photo awhile back of the Prez having some fun with our olympic duo:

Bush knuckled off a couple of lobs, but defending gold medalists Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh gave the chief executive some pointers. Then after a good play, in the tradition of female volleyballers, May-Treanor turned, bent over slightly and offered her bikinied rear-end for the 43rd president to slap.

“Mr. President,” she said, “want to?”

Bush knows nearly every camera for a half-mile was right on him, so he wisely chose instead to brush his hand across the small of May-Treanor’s back.  Me?  I would have put a welt on that thing.  Then again, I am not the Prez.

But when they smoked the Chinese drama queens for their back-to-back gold medal, who did they make a definitive point to thank besides their families?  And I mean a definitive point.  It was obvious how much Kerri wanted this to get out to the viewing public, and for those stayting up late, it got out.  They thanked our President for his inspiration and for all he’s doing.

You can see how they thanked W  here.

I watched this live.  And I remember thinking there is no way this clip–at least this part of the clip–would be shown on the Today Show.  And guess what?  It wasn’t.  Shocking.

This made up for the badmitton, trampoline and race walking…

Another Olympic Update

Posted by TheJOTUS on August 21, 2008

You have got to be kidding me.  Seriously.  You have got to be kidding me:

Russian dominates rainy race walk

Folks, I actually watched about five minutes of this crap.  I know, I know, about 4 minutes and 52 seconds too long.  But I gave it a chance.  However, after watching these people…ahem…”race walk” it reminded me of how you look when you are trying to hit the head after holding it for 8 hours……gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now…

Olympic Update – 8/20/08

Posted by TheJOTUS on August 21, 2008

Debbie Phelps has been her son’s (that is Michael Phelps for those in Rio Linda) biggest fan in Beijing, but we haven’t seen Michael’s father.  Well TheJotus has uncovered who his father really is:

Ha, ha, just kidding.  But this guy did

Please remind me why this is relevant?  Is there a section of the American public that has to know where this guy’s father is?  Can you introduce me to the tool bag sitting on his couch saying “yo honey, where is Michael’s father?”

Apparently MIchael has had to deal with this issue since he was nine.  And until August 20, 2008 about 99% of the public has had no idea.  I am sure our 2008 Beijing olympics, 8 gold medal winner will enjoy his suppressed wound being ripped wide open.

Olympic Update

Posted by TheJOTUS on August 19, 2008

Ok folks, just as I was giving the Olympics another chance, it goes and punches me right in the gut.  I admit, I had a slight change of heart after Michael Phelps and company completely roped me in– especially Phelps’ 7th medal race, WOW.  I started watching water polo, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh, hell even gymnastics.

But it turns out it was all a sham.  Hogwash.  I was duped, hoodwinked and bamboozled.  Just as I started to change my opinion, I was quickly clubbed over the head, had smelling salts packed into my nose and brought back to earth.  Why you ask?  How??  I’ll tell you how:  The freaking trampoline.  Yeah you read that right, the trampoline.  You see the trampoline is an Olympic sport…ahem…event.  When I saw this I nearly fell out of my chair.

So apparently there is another backyard activity (see post below) the Olympics have made into an event.  We have badmitton and now, folks, the trampoline.  How about we make the slip-n-slide an event?  Extra points for staying on the mat the entire way down!!  Why not synchronized sprinkler dancing?  Horse shoes?  Washers?  Lawn darts?

How about we make it a decathalon?  We could round it out with timed events in mashing hotdogs, potato salad and the first to slam 12 beers.  Dear Lord, I think I am the gold medal favorite going into 2012.  I shall represent you well Old Glory, I shall represent you well.

Olympic Blog

Posted by TheJOTUS on August 16, 2008

I’m not going to get into real detail why I am not a big fan of the Olympics.  Fraud and anti-American are a couple of reasons why.  But the number one reason is Badmitton.  Yes, badmitton.  Badmitton.  I guess I could keep saying it but it will still be a sport in the Olympics.

So a 4th of July, I can’t figure out how to put the net up, too many beers, backyard game is an Olympic sport??  God, I hate the Olympics…..
