Robert Byrd, Former KKK Member, Dead At Age 92

Posted by TheJOTUS on June 28, 2010

Democrat Senator and former klan member from the state of West Virginia died last night.  I’ll try to take the high road here and keep it classy.  So I’ll leave you with some words from the late Senator:

I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side… Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.

Remember this when you hear the media’s praising coverage of klansman Byrd’s life.

Hate Crime Redundancy?

Posted by TheJOTUS on November 2, 2009

Last week Obama signed the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act. Although to ensure its passage, it had to be attached onto the Defense appropriation. Naturally.

Yet another hate crime law designed to protect a specific group under federal law. It is a shining example of the statist’s disdain for the principle of equal justice under the law. Just like other hate crimes laws, it criminalizes the wrong thought rather than the wrong conduct.

And it’s completely redundant at that.

The two who committed the heinous acts against Shepard are currently each serving two consecutive life sentences. Never again will they breathe free air. But not only that, Shepard wasn’t murdered for being gay. He was murdered for drug money after he left a bar with a couple of meth heads he was hoping to have a three-way slap and tickle with. In a sane society, he would be a cautionary example, not a celebrated martyr.

Meanwhile, two of Byrd’s murderers are awaiting execution while the third is serving a life sentence.

But with all that said, there is one thing that is overlooked. The punishments of these five douchbags are symbols of how the justice system worked without the need for a hate crimes law.

The statist relishes in the division of Americans into groups and giving special treatment for one over the other. It’s despicable.

Great News: 42% Say Obamacare Is Generally Better Than Hookers And Blow

Posted by TheJOTUS on September 16, 2009

However, on a sad note, 55% of the country is now officially racist.

Oh, and by racist, I mean disapprove of Obama’s economy and soul crushing healthcare reform:

One week after President Obama’s speech to Congress, opposition to his health care reform plan has reached a new high of 55%. The latest Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll shows that just 42% now support the plan, matching the low first reached in August.

A week ago, 44% supported the proposal and 53% were opposed. Following the speech last Wednesday night intended to relaunch the health care initiative, support for the president’s effort bounced as high as 51% (see day-by-day numbers). But the new numbers suggest that support for health care reform is now about the same as it was in August.

Seventy-four percent (74%) of Democrats now support the plan while 80% of Republicans are opposed. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 67% are opposed.

Man, if only there was something they could do to turn this around……oh, i know, how about demanding that protesters and opposition should be probed for “racist” thoughts.

Yeah, let me know how that works out.

“You Lie” Is Now Apparently A Synonym For Racism

Posted by TheJOTUS on September 16, 2009

That’s right, I said synonym. You might want to write that down.

You know what has been officially pronounced dead? Obama’s post-racial presidency. Of course, that was always a fraud. Starting way back in the primaries when he lobbed racial insinuations at the Clintons, on through the general election when McCain was accused of racism, and right on up to present day, when a guy who never shuts the hell up somehow can’t be bothered when his friends on the left start throwing racist bombs.

So yeah, it has to be dead. Because even now we have democrats and black politicians inciting even more racial divisions. Don’t believe it? Believe it. Every white person is one racially coded wink and a nod away from signing up with the invisible empire of the KKK.  Why, a democratic representative said so, so it has to be true:

Rep. Joe Wilson’s outburst last week is drawing new recriminations from his colleagues, with a member of the Congressional Black Caucus suggesting that a failure to rebuke Wilson is tantamount to supporting the most blatant form of organized racism in American history.

In an obvious reference to the KKK, Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., said Tuesday that people will put on “white hoods and ride through the countryside” if emerging racist attitudes, which he says were subtly supported by Wilson, are not rebuked. He said Wilson must be disciplined as an example.

The charged comments come as the House is preparing to take further action against the South Carolina Republican. House Democratic leaders decided to formally discipline him Tuesday afternoon for his jeer last week at President Obama during a joint session of Congress.

Well thank God the House so bravely voted to censure Mr. Wilson.  Cause I was like minutes away from forming my own nazi-skinhead heavy metal band.  Whew…

So because we criticize the President’s policies or agenda, we are racists? Because he is black, it’s his way and he wins on everything? Is that the new rule we are playing by?

That mentality is absurd and I reject it. You cannot claim we can’t call Obama a liar just because he is black. It doesn’t work that way. In fact, to paraphrase Serena Williams: You can take that line of thinking and shove it up your squeakhole.

What it really comes down to is the racism charge has become the Democrat’s excuse for a losing position on a pathetic argument, poorly constructed, and pushed in a blatant attempt to slide it by the American people.  So they name call.  It is the equivalent of taking their ball and going home.

Exit question:  Who really won here?  Sure he was reprimanded (and rightfully so) for his rude behavior.  Because of Wilson’s outburst, Obama’s lie was exposed leading the Senate to acknowledge HR3200 needed changing.  And since then, he has gone on to raise over a million and a half dollars for his next campaign.

What did the democrats get, except egg on their face?
